Growing up in a Dominican family we put cheese on everything. I mean EVERYTHING!!! Rice, eggs, pasta…everything!!!! While I am a cheese lover I have yet to meet anyone who loves cheese more then my Sissypoo. She loves cheese so much that the only thing she loves more than cheese is EXTRA CHEESE!!! While cheese make everything extraordinary there are a lot of good and bad things about this wonderful treat.
* Packed with Calcium
* Vitamin D but not enough to put a dent in your daily value needs
* 30 grams of cheddar cheese contain 6 grams of protein
* Has amino acids to keep you body fit if eaten in moderations
* Vitamin A
* Has options of low fat and fat free which is great in the reduction of calories and sometimes taste
* Not a replacement for your toothbrush but cheese has been known to help fight cavities
* Loaded with saturated fat which is one of the worst fats to eat
* Tons of calories
* High in sodium
* Not to good for you heart
As with anything else, eating cheese should come in moderations. While packing it on your burrito will bring joy to your eyes and taste buds remember if taken out of control it can cause more harm than good.

You may be thinking YIKES…and YIKES it is indeed.
Throughout losing weight, I learned it was super important to not only track the calories you eat but it’s important to track the calories you lose during your workouts. Because losing one pound means losing 3500 calories it’s important to figure out how much exercise and food intake you have to bear to lose weight. You may think to yourself that it’s impossible to ever lose any weight with that being your in odds. Truth is, it is very tough however it can be done. The key to losing more weight is to burn off more calories than you consume. That’s fundamental and we all know that right. That is the answer. Nothing more, nothing less!!!
Did you know…Obesity has surpassed smoking in preventable causes of death in this country.
I get it, you get it, we all get it!!! What is it that we get????
Did you know…if your lunch leaves you craving a sweet nap or quick shut eye it’s from blood rushing to your digestive system to pick up nutrients so less oxygen is flowing to the brain which makes you feel drowsy. Ladies & Gentlemen there is a simple cure!!! Did you know the sun cues your body to produce serotonin which boosts energy and exercise makes you feel alert by sending oxygenated blood to your brain and muscles.
So have no fear if you eat that big bite…simple go for a stroll 🙂
Did you know…exercise releases endorphins into your body that are natural pain killers?!?! So ladies…say good bye to using the excuse of not wanting to work out during your period because of craps. Research shows, working out during your period when you have cramps can lead to no more pain!!!
Dishing out dinner portions at the stove instead of serving yourself right at the table could help you eat 20% fewer calories per meal. When food’s out of sight, you’re not automatically tempted to refill your plate. It also enables you to pause and ask, “wait, how hungry am I?” which will keep you from going back for seconds (or thirds!) unless your body really needs them.
Working one side of your body at a time is the best way to tone. Studies show that when you train both sides at once, your stronger one takes over, so your weaker side doesn’t benefit as much.
